Khasdar culture fest to feature mega screen outside venue
Nagpur: The much-awaited Khasdar Sanskrutik Mahotsav (MP cultural festival) is set to take its legacy to new heights this year. Former MP Ajay Sancheti said that the festival has become an iconic event and inspired similar celebrations across the country, making Nagpur a cultural hub.
He was speaking after inaugurating the festival’s office and the ground-breaking ceremony of the venue, held on Thursday. “Khasdar Mahotsav has become a symbol of cultural excellence and inclusivity. It has set a benchmark for other MPs to follow, showcasing how cultural heritage can unite people,” he said.
To accommodate the overwhelming crowd that flocks to the festival, organisers announced a significant upgrade: a massive outdoor screen will be installed outside the venue. This initiative ensures that even those unable to enter the packed venue can enjoy the programmes in real time.
Festival president professor Anil Sole highlighted this new feature, saying, “Every year, thousands gather to celebrate this cultural extravaganza, and many leave disappointed due to limited space. The outdoor screen will now give everyone a chance to be part of this grand celebration.”
